Sid Harmon
Sid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University. In 1976, he started working with his father in the insurance industry from the Abingdon office. Sid has over twenty-five years of insurance experience. He specializes in personal and commercial lines property and casualty insurance.
Jay C. Stephens
Jay received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Western Illinois University in 1996. He started working at Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency in the Avon office in January, 2000. Jay is an Avon resident and is active in many local organizations. He is licensed for all lines of insurance, but his professional specialties include farm & ranch insurance, crop insurance and personal lines property and casualty.
Mark McCurry*
Mark has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 1989. He began his financial career with Prudential Insurance in 1976. Mark joined Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency seven years later. He is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Registered Representative for WRP Investments. Mark is committed to helping people solve the great financial problems of life: planning for retirement income you won’t outlive, tax-efficient estate planning and education for children and grandchildren.
Gary Ashley
Gary graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Roosevelt University, Chicago, IL. He began his insurance career in 1976. Gary has gone through the Life Underwriters Educational Course Line and earned his L.U.T.C.F. designation. He also has qualified multiple times for the Million Dollar Round Table, an industry wide accomplishment for life insurance sales. Gary began his affiliation with Harmon Insurance in 1998. He is fully licensed in all forms of insurance, however, he believes you can be a “Jack of all trades and master of none”, so ten years ago he directed his efforts toward life, health and disability coverage for the individual and business market.
Sue Gordon
Sue started working for Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency, Inc. in October of 1993. She has been a licensed insurance producer since March, 1995. Sue specializes in personal lines home, auto, watercraft, and recreational vehicles.
Julie Hurd
Julie started working for Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency, Inc. in September of 2001. She has been a licensed insurance producer since December, 2001. Julie specializes in commercial lines property and casualty, farm, and commercial lines claims.
Janet Powell
Janet started working for Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency, Inc. in August of 1998. She has been a licensed insurance producer since March, 2000. Janet specializes in personal lines farm, home, auto, recreational vehicles, and personal lines claims.
Hallie Bodenhamer
Hallie started working for Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1992. She has been a licensed insurance producer since March, 1995. Hallie is the Agency Bookkeeper.
Renee Maxwell
Renee started working for Harmon & Harmon Insurance Agency, Inc. in 2004. She has been a licensed insurance producer since August, 2005. Renee specializes in personal lines property and casualty and customer service.
